Romantic Comedy 2: Farewell to Bachelorhood (Romantik Komedi 2: Bekarlığa Veda)
Romantic Comedy 2: Farewell to Bachelorhood is a 2013 Turkish romantic comedy directed by Erol Özlevi in his feature film debut. Serving as a sequel to the 2010 hit Romantic Comedy, the production brings back much of the original ensemble. Written by Aslı Zengin and Ceren Aslan, it opened in cinemas in February 2013.
While Esra (Sedef Avcı) throws herself into wedding preparations, Didem (Sinem Kobal) realizes she is the last unmarried woman in her circle of friends. Alarmed, she devises various schemes to push her longtime boyfriend Cem (Engin Altan Düzyatan) toward proposing. Cem, however, is absorbed in his new acting project and its glamorous co-star Gözde (Özge Ulusoy), which sends the jealous Didem into secretly tailing him. During her surveillance she discovers that the men are throwing a bachelor party at a hotel in Antalya. Determined to find out what really goes on at such a party, the women plot to infiltrate the hotel disguised as belly dancers, setting off a string of comic and romantic misadventures.
The cast also includes Cemal Hünal, Ali Ersan Duru, Gökçe Özyol and Kubilay Penbeklioğlu.
