Gökçe Özyol — Biography

Gökçe Özyol was born on 2 December 1972 in Istanbul. A graduate of the Cartoon Animation Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Eskişehir Anadolu University, he began his acting career in 2006 with the series İki Aile.

He went on to appear in the series Gece Gündüz, Haneler, Kış Masalı, Masumlar and Geniş Aile, as well as the 2009 film Nefes: Vatan Sağolsun. He reached a wide audience playing Barış in the 2010 series Yahşi Cazibe, and also took part in productions such as Alemin Kralı, Ali Ayşe'yi Seviyor, Şipşak Anadolu and Şimdi Onlar Düşünsün.

Following the series Filinta and Güvercin Uçuverdi, Özyol played Kurtuluş Yorulmaz in the 2016 series No:309, becoming one of the familiar faces of Turkish television over a career spanning more than a decade.
