Sinem Kobal — Biography
Sinem Kobal was born on 14 August 1987 in Istanbul; her family originally comes from Rize. Educated in the Performing Arts Department of Beykent University, Kobal began acting at the Dormen Theatre and stepped into television in 2001, at the age of 13, with the role of Dilara in the series Dadı. In 2006 she became widely known with the character Selena, whom she portrayed in the series Selena.
Her career includes films such as Okul (2003), Ayakta Kal (2009), Romantik Komedi (2010) and Romantik Komedi 2: Bekarlığa Veda (2013), as well as series such as Küçük Sırlar, Gönül İşleri, Analar ve Anneler and Yüz Yüze (2017). The actress, who appeared in the film Her Şeyin Başı Merkür in 2024, is married to Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and has two daughters named Lalin and Leyla. She frequently features in the entertainment press together with her family.
