Tuğba Melis Türk — Biography

Tuğba Melis Türk was born on September 7, 1990, in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. She studied at the Drama and Acting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at İstanbul Aydın University and won the Best Model of Turkey beauty pageant in 2011.

She began her acting career in 2004 with the series Büyük Buluşma, going on to appear in series such as Arka Sokaklar, Annem, Senin Uğruna, Bez Bebek, Sevgili Düşmanım, Uygun Adım Aşk, Adını Feriha Koydum, Krem, Leyla ile Mecnun, Merhamet, Hatasız Kul Olmaz, Şimdi Onlar Düşünsün, Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim, and Kaçak. She made her film debut in Cehennem, the first Turkish 3D movie, then played Cemile in Kolpaçino: Bomba (2011) and also appeared that year in Laz Vampir: Tirakula. On television, she played Nil in Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları on Star TV, sharing the lead with Nazan Kesal and Deniz Baysal.

In early 2026 Tuğba Melis Türk took part in the reality competition Survivor, and around the same time drew public praise for joining a charity trip to Nigeria to support orphaned children; at the end of 2025 she also made a pilgrimage to Umrah, during which she publicly shared for the first time the family story behind her name.
