Türkü Turan — Biography

Türkü Turan was born on 1 February 1985 in Bodrum. She graduated from the Department of Sociology at the Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts; alongside acting she has also worked as a singer and model.

She had her first acting experience in 2007 with the series Annem. In 2009 she played Neptün in the film Kosmos. After the series Çakıl Taşları and Gönül Ferman Dinlemiyor (2010), she appeared in 2011 in the series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki, Adını Feriha Koydum and Nuri, and in the films Gişe Memuru, Musallat 2: Lanet and Celal Tan ve Ailesinin Aşırı Acıklı Hikayesi. She went on to act in the series Şubat and Toprağın Çocukları (2012), Tatar Ramazan (2013), Maral and Acı Aşk (2015), and in the film Saklı. In 2017 she portrayed Alya in the series Dolunay, and she took roles in Yaşamayanlar (2018), Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever 2 (2020) and Seni Çok Bekledim (2021). In 2026 she played Seray in ATV's new series Aynı Yağmur Altında.
