Kolpaçino: Bomba
Kolpaçino: Bomba is a 2011 Turkish comedy film. Directed by and starring Şafak Sezer, it is a sequel to the 2009 film Kolpaçino and largely features the same cast. Aydemir Akbaş, Ali Çatalbaş, Arzu Yanardağ, Kubilay Penbeklioğlu, and Tuğba Melis Türk are among the prominent cast members. The story takes place in Istanbul.
The film tells the story of Özgür, who, following the events at the end of the first installment, is forced into marriage and then blackmailed after a secret recording of his relationship with his ex-girlfriend is made. Finding himself in an inescapable predicament, Özgür seeks help from the Kolpaçino team, composed of his old friends; however, the team's attempts to rescue him only lead to greater trouble, and the matter quickly escalates from simple blackmail into a real confrontation.
The film premiered in approximately 400 theaters on March 11, 2011, and topped the box office charts in its opening week. During its seventeen weeks in theaters, it attracted over 736,000 viewers, becoming the eleventh most-watched film in Türkiye in 2011 and ranking among the highest-grossing domestic productions of the year.
