New Life (Yeni Hayat) (translated)

Yeni Hayat is a Turkish action drama series produced by OJO Pictures and broadcast on Kanal D. Its first episode aired on 3 September 2020, and it concluded with its ninth episode on 29 October 2020. Directed by Başak Soysal and Cem Özüduru, the series was written by Elif Usman, Serdar Soydan and Deniz Büyükkırlı, and is loosely adapted from the British series Bodyguard. The story follows Adem, a former soldier forced to leave the military, who starts a new civilian life working as a bodyguard. A wealthy businessman with many enemies hires Adem to protect his wife, Yasemin. During this assignment, an impossible love develops between Adem and Yasemin, while Adem's wife Nevin and their daughter Ece are also part of the story. The cast includes Serkan Çayoğlu, Melisa Aslı Pamuk, Tayanç Ayaydın and Nilperi Şahinkaya.
