The Profiteers (Vurguncular) (translated)

Vurguncular is a 1971 Turkish crime-adventure film. Şerif Gören directed the picture, which stars Yılmaz Güney and Fikret Hakan in the lead roles. The story follows two close friends who get drawn into gangster dealings, a plot typical of the era's Yeşilçam crime pictures.

Nazan Şoray and Melek Görgün also appear in the cast, with Görgün playing the character known as Mardoni's girlfriend. Made at a time when Yılmaz Güney was becoming known not only as an actor but also as a filmmaker in his own right, the film stands as one of several collaborations between him and Gören.
