Sing Your Folk Songs (Sen Türkülerini Söyle) (translated)

Sen Türkülerini Söyle (Sing Your Folk Songs) is a 1986 Turkish drama film directed by Şerif Gören. Starring Kadir İnanır in the lead role, the film runs about 84 minutes and belongs to the socially themed productions of its period.

The film tells the story of Hayri, a man caught up in the political events preceding September 12. After serving seven years in prison, Hayri is released and finds that his family and closest friends have changed profoundly during his absence.
