Melek Görgün — Biography
Melek Görgün (born 19 January 1949, Adana) is a Turkish film actress. She entered cinema in 1967, in the black-and-white era, with the film Felaket Sözcüsü, and in the early 1970s appeared in productions such as Son Söz Benim (1970), Battal Gazi Destanı (1971), Vurguncular (1971), Acı Pirinç and Asker Ahmet.
From the mid-1970s she took part in the era's erotic film wave and gained popularity with the film O'nun Hikayesi (1975). Görgün left cinema in 1978, having appeared in around a hundred films; in retrospective reports of recent years she is remembered as one of the unforgettable stars of that period of Yeşilçam.
