Line of Demarcation

Line of Demarcation (French: La Ligne de démarcation) is a 1966 Franco-Italian war drama written and directed by Claude Chabrol. The film is adapted from the memoir of Gilbert Renault, a celebrated figure of the French Resistance who published under the pseudonym Colonel Rémy. Set in occupied France during the Second World War, it portrays life around the demarcation line that divided the country and the Resistance struggle that unfolded there. The ensemble cast includes Jean Seberg, Maurice Ronet, Daniel Gélin, Jacques Perrin, Stéphane Audran and Jean Yanne. The film was released on 25 May 1966.
