Je suis timide mais je me soigne is a 1978 French comedy directed by Pierre Richard, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jean-Jacques Annaud and Alain Godard. Richard stars alongside Aldo Maccione and Mimi Coutelier, with supporting turns from Jacques François, Catherine Lachens, Robert Castel and Robert Dalban. The film runs about 88 minutes and features music by Vladimir Cosma.

Released in France in 1978, the comedy proved a commercial success, paving the way for Richard and Maccione to team up again the following year. It was also distributed abroad under translated titles, including in East Germany and Romania.
