Ali Yorgancıoğlu directed Hep Yek, a 2015 Turkish comedy-adventure film released in cinemas on February 5, 2016. The screenplay was written by Alper Erze, Suat Özkan and Bilal Kalyoncu, with Kalyoncu also producing alongside Sadık Ekinci; Hayk Kirakosyan served as cinematographer. Produced by Siyah Perde and distributed by Pinema, the film runs 86 minutes.

The plot follows Cevat, the pleasure-seeking son of one of Turkey's most notorious mob bosses, who becomes infatuated with the internationally famous model Camilla and has her abducted. The kidnapping is carried out by the crime veteran Ziya Baba, who hands the model — sealed inside a package — to Şahin, a courier who has no idea what he is transporting from İzmir to İstanbul. Along the way Şahin crosses paths with two walking disasters, Gürkan and Altan, loses the package because of them, and is plunged into the hardest 48 hours of his life as the trio scramble to recover it before Cevat finds out.

Gürkan Uygun (Cevat), Fırat Tanış (Şahin), Gökhan Yıkılkan (Gürkan) and İnan Ulaş Torun (Altan) share the leading roles. The supporting cast includes Denise Capezza as Camilla, Füsun Demirel, Yüksel Arıcı as Ziya Baba, Tuna Orhan, Fuat Ergin and Ferdi Sancar as Fikret.

Through different eyes

Action & Thriller Fan Puts pace, tension and set pieces first; little patience for slow drama.

A kidnapped model inside a package, a mob boss's son on the hunt and 48 hours on the clock: the setup promises a proper road-movie chase. The İzmir-to-İstanbul run is a lively idea, and Fırat Tanış's courier in over his head makes a good centre. But the film leans on comedy far more than tension, and the danger never feels truly serious. The 86 minutes fly by, even if they do not stick.

Family Viewer Asks whether the whole household can watch it; cares about humour and heart.

Think twice before sitting down with young children just because it is a comedy. The plot is about a model being kidnapped, with mob bosses and the criminal world involved. It can be a fun watch with older teens, but the subject is not right for little ones. If you are unsure about the language and jokes, take a look yourself first. The bumbling duo Gürkan and Altan will get the most laughs from teenagers.

Cinephile Looks at script, editing and directing choices; keeps a distance from formula films.

Hep Yek is a local take on the familiar comedy built around a package that falls into the wrong hands. The script's skeleton is solid: characters unaware of each other chasing a single object against a clear deadline. Yet the film, credited to three writers, fills that skeleton with a string of sketches rather than a finely worked plot. Strong actors such as Gürkan Uygun and Fırat Tanış give their characters weight, while Gökhan Yıkılkan and İnan Ulaş Torun are the comic engine. Hayk Kirakosyan's camerawork has a liveliness that suits a road movie. In the end it is tidy entertainment, but it rarely steps outside the formula and produces repetition more than surprise.
