Faccia a faccia is a 1967 Italian-Spanish co-production Spaghetti Western directed by Sergio Sollima, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sergio Donati. The score was composed by Ennio Morricone, and the principal cast includes Gian Maria Volonté, Tomas Milian and William Berger.

The story follows Professor Brad Fletcher, a New England lecturer who leaves his post for health reasons and travels to Texas, where he is taken hostage by a wounded, wanted outlaw named Solomon 'Beauregard' Bennet. Fletcher helps him recover and gradually becomes drawn to the outlaw life, ultimately joining Bennet's bandit gang and even seizing control of it. This exchange of moral values between the two men has often been read as a parable of the rise of European fascism, shaped by Sollima's wartime experiences and his convictions about how society molds individual character. A major box-office success in Europe, the film has earned praise from critics and genre scholars for its story and performances, and Sollima regarded it as one of his best and most personal works.
