The opening season of Kuş Uçuşu, a Turkish Netflix drama, comprises eight episodes that premiered on 3 June 2022. Set against the cutthroat backdrop of television news, the story follows Aslı, a determined young woman who talks and tricks her way into the newsroom of Lale Kıran, the celebrated anchor she has long looked up to. Once inside, she discovers that behind the polished on-screen image lurk jealousy, ruthless ambition and a desperate hunger to be noticed. Her initial admiration slowly hardens into an increasingly tense contest of wills between the two women. Deniz Yorulmazer directs the season from a script by Meriç Acemi, with Birce Akalay, Miray Daner and İbrahim Çelikkol leading a cast that also includes İrem Sak, Burak Yamantürk and Defne Kayalar.
