Burak Yamantürk — Biography

Born on December 23, 1983, in İzmit, Burak Yamantürk originally trained in submarine technology and diving before turning to the performing arts, studying at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet and later graduating from Mimar Sinan University's Department of Modern Dance. After a small part in the film Ayhan Hanım, he made his television debut in 2012 opposite Fahriye Evcen in the series Veda.

In the years that followed, he starred alongside his wife, actress Özge Özpirinçci, in Tatar Ramazan, and went on to appear in Yasak, Hayat Yolunda and Acı Aşk. Between 2022 and 2024 he featured in all three seasons of Kuş Uçuşu, a series also known internationally as As the Crow Flies, one of the longest-running projects of his career.

Beyond acting, Yamantürk is a frequent presence in celebrity press coverage, regularly seen alongside his wife Özge Özpirinçci and their daughter Mercan at family outings and vacations.
