Irmak Örnek — Biography

Born on August 20, 1987, in İzmir, Irmak Örnek turned to acting after graduating from the Public Relations and Advertising Department of İzmir University of Economics. She entered the profession in 2011 with the series Bizim Yenge and quickly moved between film and television projects.

In 2012 she appeared in Zülfü Livaneli's film Veda as well as the television series of the same name, before playing Ebru in the 2013 horror film Dabbe: Cin Çarpması and Aylin in the 2015 drama Nadide Hayat. A former dancer and model, she also gained experience on stage.

Her breakthrough came with the role of Şirin in Cesur ve Güzel, the series headlined by Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Tuba Büyüküstün, which brought her recognition with a wide domestic and international audience.
