Ali Cengiz Oyunu
Ali Cengiz Oyunu is a Turkish film in colour, released in 1971. It was directed by Halit Refiğ, one of Turkish cinema's most discussed director-theorists, remembered above all for his role in the 'national cinema' debates. A romance, the film is adapted from two popular Indian pictures: Ramudu Bheemudu of 1964 and its 1967 Hindi version Ram Aur Shyam. The cast brings together İzzet Günay, Gülistan Güzey, Arzu Okay and Hulusi Kentmen, one of the most familiar character actors of the Yeşilçam years.
