Michel Peyrelon — Biography

Michel Peyrelon was a French film actor and stage director, born on 10 October 1936 in Le Puy-en-Velay in the Haute-Loire department. Over a career spanning roughly three decades he appeared in close to thirty films, beginning with Les Vierges (1963) and going on through the 1970s in well-known French productions such as Dr. Popaul, La Scoumoune, Going Places and The French Detective, where he typically played supporting character roles. Later in his career he had a part in the widely popular 1993 comedy Les Visiteurs. He died in Paris on 4 June 2003.
