The Accuser

The Accuser (original title: L'Imprécateur) is a 1977 French drama film directed by Jean-Louis Bertuccelli, who also wrote the screenplay. The film is adapted from René-Victor Pilhes's novel of the same name, published in 1974. Running about 102 minutes, it features an ensemble of well-known French screen actors, including Jean Yanne, Jean-Pierre Marielle, Christine Pascal, Jean-Claude Brialy, Michael Lonsdale and Michel Peyrelon. Shot in French, the picture is one of Bertuccelli's literary adaptations from this period of his career.
