Lionel Abelanski — Biography
Lionel Abelanski was born on 22 October 1964 in the 20th arrondissement of Paris and trained as an actor at the renowned Cours Florent drama school. He built an extensive filmography as one of French cinema's familiar character actors from the late 1990s onward.
He drew notice for his performance in Radu Mihaileanu's Holocaust-themed Train of Life (1998), and went on to appear in productions including Belphégor, Phantom of the Louvre (2001) and The Concert (2009). His career continued steadily, most recently with a role in Bernadette (2023).
