Les parasites is a 1999 French-Italian co-production comedy written and directed by Philippe de Chauveron. Made at the very start of Chauveron's directing career, the film brings together a large ensemble of familiar faces from French screen comedy of the period. Alongside Lionel Abelanski and Jacky Nercessian, the cast includes performers such as Franck Dubosc, Élie Semoun, Atmen Kelif and Estelle Skornik. The picture is remembered as an example of the ensemble comedies produced in France at the end of the 1990s.
