Ecem Özkaya Üstündağ — Biography

Ecem Nur Özkaya, known professionally as Ecem Özkaya Üstündağ after her marriage, is a Turkish actress born in Istanbul on June 25, 1988. A graduate of the Radio and Television program at Maltepe University, she made her television debut in 2007 with the series Kartallar Yüksek Uçar.

She went on to appear in productions such as Havalimanı/İyi Uçuşlar, Elveda Rumeli, Sizi Seviyorum, Cümbür Cemaat Aile and İffet, and gained wider recognition from 2012 onward for playing Biricik in Zengin Kız Fakir Oğlan. Her portrayal of Melek in the series Hayat Şarkısı, which premiered on Kanal D in 2016, brought her to a broad audience, and she continued her television career in later years with series such as Can Kırıkları and Gönül Dağı.

Also active on stage, Özkaya Üstündağ won the Best Supporting Actress award in the theatre category at the 23rd Sadri Alışık Awards for her performance in the play Kanlı Komedya.
