Beste Kökdemir — Biography

Beste Kökdemir is a Turkish actress and television producer, born on 29 August 1993 in Sinop. After finishing primary and secondary school in her hometown, she moved to Istanbul and studied for a time at Haliç University's Fashion Design Department before switching to Stage and Performing Arts Management at Istanbul Bilgi University. She began acting in 2012 as Hazal in Çıplak Gerçek, played Selin in Not Defteri in 2014, and took on a role in Poyraz Karayel in 2015. That same year she became widely known for playing Açelya in Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar.

She joined the cast of Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem in 2016 and played Melisa in the Kanal D series Hayat Şarkısı. In 2018 she portrayed Bezmiâlem in the international co-production Kalbimin Sultanı (one source names the character Hoşyar Kadın instead), and later appeared in the series Altay. She married actor Fazlı Erdinç Çatak in the summer of 2025, and that November the couple welcomed a son they named Kai Güneş; her journey into motherhood has since kept her frequently in the entertainment headlines.
