Wanted

Wanted is a 1967 Italian spaghetti western directed by Giorgio Ferroni, who was credited under the pseudonym Calvin Jackson Padget. The film stars Giuliano Gemma alongside Teresa Gimpera and Nello Pazzafini, with a supporting cast that includes Serge Marquand, Daniele Vargas, Benito Stefanelli and Alberto Dell'Acqua. The screenplay was written by Remigio Del Grosso and Fernando Di Leo, and the score was composed by Gianni Ferrio. Gemma's character, named Gary, reappeared in two further westerns he made with Ferroni that followed similar storylines. Shot in Italian and presented in Totalscope, the film reached German cinemas in April 1967 under the title Wanted – Für drei lumpige Dollar. It was also released in Brazil as Minha lei é matar ou morrer and in Portugal as O perseguido, reflecting the wide international distribution typical of the genre at the time.
