Wild Blood (Vahşi Kan) (translated)

Wild Blood is a 1983 Turkish action-drama directed by Çetin İnanç. Star Cüneyt Arkın also shared screenwriting duties with İnanç, and the picture was produced by Mehmet Karahafız. Because it borrows freely from the 1982 American film First Blood, it later became known abroad as a 'Turkish Rambo' and, together with the similar adaptation Korkusuz, achieved cult status.

The story follows Rıza, who slips away from the gendarmes and hides in the forest, fighting off the men sent after him and clashing with local strongmen such as Haşmet Ağa and Davut in order to survive. The cast includes Emel Tümer alongside Yeşilçam regulars Hüseyin Peyda, Turgut Özatay, Arzu Aytun and Oktar Durukan.
