The House on the Volcano

The House on the Volcano is a 1928 silent film directed by Hamo Beknazaryan. Set in the Baku oil fields, it portrays the life and struggle of oil workers labouring under punishing conditions. Hıraçya Nersesyan appears in the cast. A production that brought Armenian and Azerbaijani filmmakers together, it is one of the worker-themed films of Soviet silent cinema.
