Qué vida más triste

Qué vida más triste is a Spanish comedy series created by Natxo del Agua and Rubén Ontiveros, with Ontiveros writing and directing. It began as a production made for the Internet, and after its website drew more than two million visits in early 2008, the format moved to television, airing on La Sexta from October 2008. Running until 2010, the series reached a total of 178 episodes across seven seasons.

At its centre is Borja Pérez, an ordinary young man who narrates his everyday life to the camera in a video-diary style; flashbacks, however, reveal to viewers that his account is not always truthful. Following the transition to television, the show also embraced episodes that openly displayed its fictional nature. Alongside cast members such as Verónika Moral, various guest performers appeared in brief roles throughout the run.
