Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy (original French title La Môme vert-de-gris) is a 1953 French crime film directed by Bernard Borderie. The screenplay, written by Borderie and Jacques Berland, adapts Peter Cheyney's 1937 Lemmy Caution thriller of the same name, which had been the first title published in Marcel Duhamel's celebrated Série noire collection in 1945.

The story follows FBI agent Lemmy Caution as he investigates gold smuggling activity in Casablanca. The film marked Borderie's directorial debut and introduced American-born actor Eddie Constantine in his first appearance as Lemmy Caution. Released in France on 27 May 1953, the cast also includes Dario Moreno, Georges Wilson and Jess Hahn.
