Paris Memories
Paris Memories (original title Revoir Paris) is a 2022 French drama film directed by Alice Winocour, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jean-Stéphane Bron and Marcia Romano; production was handled by Dharamsala. The film follows Mia, a translator who survives a terrorist attack on a Paris restaurant. Three months later she is still unable to shake off the trauma and remembers that night only in fragments. In an effort to return to a normal life, she begins investigating what happened and meeting other survivors, gradually piecing her memories back together.
Virginie Efira leads the cast as Mia, alongside Benoît Magimel, Grégoire Colin, Maya Sansa and Amadou Mbow. The 105-minute film had its world premiere in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. At the 48th César Awards the following year, Efira won the César for Best Actress for her performance. The film was released theatrically in Turkey in July 2023.
