The Physician (İbni Sina: Hekim)

İbn-i Sina: Hekim (original German title "Der Medicus") is a 2013 German adventure drama directed by Philipp Stölzl, adapted from the novel of the same name by Noah Gordon. It follows an 11th-century English boy who, after losing his mother to a mysterious illness, travels to Persia to study medicine under the renowned physician Ibn Sina.

Tom Payne stars in the lead role, with Ben Kingsley portraying Ibn Sina; the supporting cast includes Fahri Yardım, Makram Khoury and Ercan Durmaz.
