Old Story (Eski Hikaye) (translated)

Eski Hikâye is a Turkish drama series that ran on TRT 1 from October 2013 to February 2014, ending with its seventeenth episode. ARC Film produced the show on behalf of TRT, with Levent Cantek directing.

The plot follows Mete, a young man determined to uncover the truth behind his father's killing. Raised by his grandmother after the murder, he seeks payback by moving into the building owned by Sadri, the man who once testified against his father in court. Living there brings him into contact with Sadri's daughter Türkan, and their growing closeness sparks a narrative caught between settling old scores and newfound affection. Mete stands alone against a powerful mafia organization while struggling to balance his quest for justice with the feelings he develops.

Buğra Gülsoy and Funda Eryiğit headline the cast, supported by performers including Murat Daltaban, Tuğçe Kumral, Ali Barkın, Sermet Yeşil and Osman Alkaş.
