The Coup (Darbe) (translated)

Darbe is a 2015 Turkish adventure-thriller film co-directed by Yasin Uslu and Yeliz Gürkan. Produced by TFT Yapım, it features a screenplay by journalist and author Avni Özgürel.

The film revolves around a crisis over the head of Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MİT) that pits two security branches against each other. Its interwoven threads include a terrorist raid on a mountain outpost, a commander caught in the middle of the peace process, and a young woman who steals a bag that was never meant to fall into her hands. Cansel Elçin plays the intelligence chief at the heart of the events, with Emrah Akduman and Fırat Topkorur among the supporting cast.
