Emre Tetikel — Biography

Emre Tetikel was born on 2 August 1985 in Tekirdağ, Turkey, where he grew up. After finishing Namık Kemal High School, he pursued an interest in acting that had begun back in his school years, gaining stage experience with the Tekirdağ City Theatre and amateur theater groups before going on to study acting abroad.

Working across film, television and theater, Tetikel is best known for playing “Berk” in the film Ayakta Kal and “Şahin” in the TV series Karagül, and he has also appeared in productions such as Küçük Kadınlar, Son Çıkış and Adını Sen Koy. Alongside acting, he has built a career as a writer, publishing novels under his own name.
