A Hindu Father (Bir Baba Hindu) (translated)

Bir Baba Hindu (A Hindu Father) is a 2016 Turkish comedy film written, directed by and starring Sermiyan Midyat. Released in cinemas on 30 September 2016, it runs about 112 minutes.

The story follows Fadıl, one of the most ruthless mafia bosses in his region, who falls in love with Gundhi, an Indian yoga teacher. When Gundhi is kidnapped from his mansion, Fadıl travels to India with his most trusted friend Hulusi to rescue her, only to discover that her mother runs a powerful criminal organization there. Sermiyan Midyat is joined by Indian actress Nicole Faria, Miss World 2010, in the lead, with Şafak Sezer, Burak Satıbol, Zeynep Kankonde and Füsun Demirel also appearing.
