Before the Deluge
Before the Deluge (French: Avant le déluge) is a 1954 French-Italian drama directed by André Cayatte, who also co-wrote the script with Charles Spaak. Produced by UGC, the picture was filmed at the Billancourt Studios in Paris, with sets created by art director Jacques Colombier. Its roughly 140-minute runtime is carried by a wide ensemble cast that includes Paul Bisciglia and Albert Rémy. The film competed at the 1954 Cannes Film Festival, where it received the International Prize.
