Bartu Ben

Bartu Ben is a Turkish comedy-drama made for the streaming service BluTV. It ran for ten episodes, from October 18 to November 29, 2018. The lead actor, Bartu Küçükçağlayan, also wrote the series, and Tolga Karaçelik directed it. Sitting where comedy meets drama, the show treats the fleeting nature of fame with humor.

The story is built around Bartu, an actor who was once recognized but whose name is steadily fading. Thanks to popular television series and independent films in his past, he enjoyed a brief spell of celebrity. Now he is tired of the same kind of routine TV work. He tries to make a living without agreeing to roles he dislikes, and along the way searches for his own identity and where he belongs. Besides Küçükçağlayan, the cast includes Nazlı Bulum, Yener Özer and Müfit Kayacan.
