Wish Me Luck (Bana Şans Dile)

Wish Me Luck is a 2001 Turkish feature film written and directed by Çağan Irmak. One of the director's earliest feature works, it blends teen drama with suspense and is classified as an action film.

The story follows Bahadır, an introverted high school student who takes his classmates hostage at gunpoint; through the painful memories the students share, the film touches on themes such as domestic violence and lack of communication. Rıza Kocaoğlu stars as Bahadır, alongside Melisa Sözen, İsmail Hacıoğlu and Deniz Uğur in the leading roles, with Başak Daşman, Nilgün Belgün, Güler Ökten, Kutay Köktürk, Aysun Metiner and Levent Sülün rounding out the cast.
