Ada (The Island) is a 1988 Turkish film starring Türkan Şoray and Rutkay Aziz. It is an adaptation of the short story of the same name by Peride Celal. Filming took place on Burgazada Island. The film's director, Süreyya Duru, passed away after suffering a heart attack during filming.
