Sinan Çalışkanoğlu — Biography

Born on January 26, 1978, in Istanbul, Sinan Çalışkanoğlu graduated from the Theatre Department of Akademi İstanbul and went on to deepen his stagecraft with pantomime and acting classes at the Pera Fine Arts Center.

Çalışkanoğlu began his career in film and television in the mid-2000s, appearing in productions such as İncir Reçeli, Sabit Kanca, Kertenkele and Mucize 2: Aşk. He became widely recognized for playing Hades in the comedy series Selena, and also made a name for himself in sketch comedy as Çetin on Güldür Güldür Show. He has additionally played Veli in the series Klavye Delikanlıları and Volkan Şahin in Türk'ün Uzayla İmtihanı.

Beyond acting, Çalışkanoğlu has hosted television programs such as İlk Buluşma on Fox and Şanslı Masa alongside Orçun Kaptan, and returned to the theatre stage in 2023, continuing a versatile career across multiple mediums.
