Pınar Deniz — Biography

Pınar Deniz was born into an Arabic-speaking family of Lebanese origin as one of five children, and grew up from the age of two in the Tarabya neighbourhood of Istanbul. She studied public relations and advertising at the Faculty of Communication of Istanbul University, and turned to acting after graduating.

Her first role came in 2014 as Evrim in the Star TV series Sil Baştan, and around the same time she appeared in the video for Murat Dalkılıç's song "Yani". In 2015 she played Berrak in Beyaz Yalan and Sinem in Günebakan. Her role as Yıldız in Vatanım Sensin, broadcast on Kanal D from 2016 to 2018, introduced her to a wide audience. She then shared the lead with Berk Cankat as Gökçe in FOX's Bir Deli Rüzgar, and played Burcu in the Netflix production Aşk 101 and Nazlı in Kırmızı Oda. Her best-known work is Yargı, broadcast on Kanal D from 2021 to 2024, in which she starred opposite Kaan Urgancıoğlu as the lawyer Ceylin Erguvan. On film she appeared in Kardeşim Benim 2 and İnsanlar İkiye Ayrılır.

Her breakthrough and her work in Yargı brought her best actress honours at several university and magazine awards. On 17 September 2024 she married actor Kaan Yıldırım; the couple's son Fikret Hakan was born in March 2025.
