İrem Helvacıoğlu — Biography

İrem Helvacıoğlu was born on 2 February 1990 in Germany to a family originally from Ankara; her father is an army colonel and her grandfather, of Albanian descent, immigrated from Thessaloniki. She first took the stage at age 11 and later trained at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, making her screen debut in 2010 in Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi before appearing in major productions such as Muhteşem Yüzyıl and Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu.

She played Pelin Su in No: 309 and won a Golden Butterfly Award for Best TV Couple for her role as Nefes in Sen Anlat Karadeniz; she went on to lead Seni Çok Bekledim and Baş Belası, played a blind character opposite Kerem Bürsin in Eflatun, starred as Zeynep in the Disney+ series Kaçış, and appeared as Zuhal Erdem in Karadut in 2024.

She married Ural Kaspar on 28 October 2024 and the couple divorced in a single hearing on 17 April 2026; in the settlement she waived alimony and gave her daughter, Sora, her own surname.
