Hare Sürel — Biography

Hare Sürel is a Turkish actress born on March 5, 1983 in Istanbul; her family originally comes from Samsun. Her interest in acting began in her middle-school years; Sürel graduated from the Theatre Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory and then completed a master's degree at Marmara University.

Beginning her career in 2000, the actress caught the attention of wide audiences with her role as Leyla in the youth series Medcezir (2013). In cinema she appeared in the films Pek Yakında (2014), Fakat Müzeyyen Bu Derin Bir Tutku (2014) and Bir Varmış Bir Yokmuş (2015). She portrayed Meltem Karayel in the Kanal D series Poyraz Karayel (2015) and joined the cast of Show TV's popular series Çukur in 2019. In 2026, it was reported that she had reached an agreement for the İstanbul Hatırası project.
