Emin Gürsoy — Biography
Emin Gürsoy was born on 12 May 1968 in the Güney district of Denizli and graduated from the Theatre Department of Anadolu Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı in 1994. He worked at the state theatres of Antalya and Van before joining a municipal theatre company, and in 1996 took part in theatre workshops in Italy. He moved into television in the late 1990s and became widely recognized for playing Kuşçu in the series Deli Yürek, a role he reprised in the 2001 film Deli Yürek: Bumerang Cehennemi.
His screen work spans films such as Mutluluk and Kelebeğin Rüyası and series including Kalk Gidelim, Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem and Kuruluş Osman. In 2018 he won the Altın Koza award for Best Supporting Actor at the 25th International Adana Film Festival for his role in the film Sibel.
