Ebru Özkan — Biography

Ebru Özkan, born on November 18, 1978 in Ankara, is a Turkish actress and model. She studied theatre at Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography; she has appeared on stage in plays such as Romeo and Juliet, A Streetcar Named Desire, and They Shoot Horses, Don't They?. Her screen career gained momentum, particularly with the roles she undertook in the 2000s.

After appearing in the television series Gözyaşı Çetesi, Kara İnci, and Güldünya, she reached a wider audience in 2009 with her portrayal of Halide in Hanımın Çiftliği. She played Berrin in Çınar Ağacı (2011) and Ela in Hayatımın Rolü (2012). Her role as Dilara in Paramparça, which began in 2014, became a turning point in her career as the series garnered significant attention outside of Turkey as well.

In subsequent years, she appeared in productions such as Memories of the Wind (2015), Falcon Crest (2018), and The Turks Are Coming: The Sword of Justice (2020); in 2022, she played both Yasemin in The Judge and Leyla in I Cannot Fit Into This World. In 2023, she also stepped into digital platform productions by joining the cast of Prime Video's Bihter film.
