Leyla Tanlar — Biography

Leyla Tanlar was born on December 13, 1997, in Istanbul. Before stepping in front of the camera, the young actress had a background in gymnastics and modeling; she completed her acting training at Akademi 35 Buçuk Sanat Evi and had performed on stage from a young age.

She became known for playing Cansu in the series Paramparça, which began airing on Star TV in 2014, and went on to portray Deniz Akdora in Falcon Crest and Şirin in Ferhat ile Şirin; in 2024 she returned to screens as Sevilay in the series Valley of Hearts.

In 2026 she also stepped onto the stage, starring opposite Sarp Akkaya in the play Job. Long in a relationship with fellow actor Burak Dakak, she has said the couple are taking their time and are in no rush toward marriage.
