Cem Akın — Biography
Cem Akın (b. 1970) is a Turkish actor and assistant director living in Germany. He pursues acting as a side occupation rather than a full-time profession; his main job is at the Turkish consulate in Hamburg. He is the older brother of director Fatih Akın.
He has appeared on screen mainly in his brother's films, first showing up as Gabriel's brother in Kısa ve Acısız (1998). He then acted in Temmuz'da (2000), Duvara Karşı (2004) and Kebab Connection (2004). He portrayed the character Milli in Soul Kitchen (2009) and also acted in Aşka Ruhunu Kat (2009) around the same period; in 2017 he appeared in a small role in Paramparça.
