Aytekin Akkaya — Biography
Aytekin Akkaya (born 2 February 1945 in Erzurum) is a Turkish actor, screenwriter and director. From the 1970s onward he became one of the most prolific figures of Turkey's Yeşilçam cinema.
Best known for adventure and fantasy films, he played Captain America in 3 Dev Adam (1973), Ali in the cult classic Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam (1982, often dubbed "Turkish Star Wars"), and Ukan in the international production Yor: The Hunter from the Future (1983). His filmography also includes Malkoçoğlu Cem Sultan (1970), Kanca (1986) and Son Kahramanlar (1987).
In addition to acting, he worked as a screenwriter, taking part in more than sixty productions over the course of his long career.
