Zeynep Aydemir — Biography

Born in İstanbul in March 1979, Zeynep Aydemir pursued her university studies in the Art History department of İstanbul University, completing an undergraduate and later a master's degree there. She turned to acting after losing her sister, trained at the conservatory of the Kenter Theatre, and developed her craft under the guidance of veteran actress Ayla Algan; she has also worked from time to time as a television presenter.

She made her screen debut in 2005 with Deli Duran, and went on to appear in series such as Doktorlar, İmkansız Aşk, Şöhret Okulu, Nazlı Yarim, Genco and Hayal ve Gerçek, as well as the film Recep İvedik. Following Servet Avcısı, Rüzgar and Bahar Dalları, she appeared in the films Sizi Seviyorum and Pak Panter and the series İşler Güçler and Alemin Kıralı, then took roles in Sıkı Dostlar, Bir Günah Gibi, Aşkın Bedeli and Diriliş Ertuğrul. Her widest recognition came from playing Şebnem in the Fox Tv series Kalbimdeki Deniz. She married Tarık Şarlıgil in 2017.
