Tuareg – The Desert Warrior

Tuareg – The Desert Warrior is a 1984 Spanish-Italian adventure-action film directed by Enzo G. Castellari, who also co-wrote the screenplay together with Tito Carpi and Vicente Escrivá. It was released internationally under the titles Tuareg – The Desert Warrior and Desert Warrior, with its original Italian title being Tuareg – Il guerriero del deserto.

The 97-minute film adapts the novel Tuareg by Spanish author Alberto Vázquez-Figueroa, first published in Spain in 1980. Its cast includes Giovanni Cianfriglia, Aldo Sambrell and Claudia Gravy. The production also holds the distinction of being the first film released by the home video distribution company Mirisch.
